During Magee Board of Alderman meeting Tuesday, May 16, 2017, the Mayor discussed the details of a Farmers Market coming to Magee beginning Saturday, June 10, 2017.
Farmers will set up in the parking lot beside the Community House and Civic Center in Magee.
The market will be open on Saturdays from 9-1.
Any farmer wishing to sell their products will need to purchase a permit at City Hall on the Tuesday before the Market. All vendors must be approved before they are allowed to participate in the Market. The reason for the approval is that each vendor must be verified that products are locally grown.
