Fall registration is open at William Carey University campuses in Hattiesburg, Biloxi and Baton Rouge, La. The fall semester starts Monday, Aug. 18.

“We invite you to move forward with purpose at William Carey. Fall 2025 marks our transition to a semester-based academic structure, and we’re ready to take on big goals together,” said Meagan Smith, WCU director of admissions.

To get started, go to “Apply” on the wmcarey.edu homepage. A drop-down menu will ask you to choose the type of student you will be – freshman, transfer, or post-graduate.

After that, you’ll be asked to complete an online application and submit records like official ACT or SAT scores, transcripts, and immunization records. There will also be information about tuition, scholarships and financial aid.

WCU will send an email and letter about next steps when your application has been reviewed.

Once accepted for admission, you will receive instructions about how to set up your student account and get in touch with your academic advisor to register for classes. At this point in the process, you can also apply for financial aid.

Prospective students should allow two to three weeks to complete the process.

Keep in mind: Now in its third year, WCU’s “Making College Affordable” program is open to undergraduate students. That means low tuition, free textbook rentals and an average increase of 40 percent over previous academic scholarship amounts.
