Connection weekend ,sponsored by First Baptist Church Magee, was held August 11-13. at Twin Lakes in Florence.  The youth event is the kick off to the Small Group activities held most every Sunday night during the school year. The group participated in large group worship and small group Bible studies.

The theme for the weekend was “exchange.” One must give up something to get something. Exchanging Death for Life; Self for Christ; Hate for Love’; and Comfort for calling were the topics covered.

The Small Group Olympics were held on Saturday involving each small group in sporting events.
Each small group wears “their” color and competes against one another. Along with the high school students, 8 college students assisted as well as adults.
