Evens Randy Tanner, Sr., 64, of Magee, Mississippi, passed away on Saturday, November 7, 2020, at his home in Magee, Mississippi. He was born Monday, September 24, 1956, in Taylorsville, Mississippi.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 11, 2020, from 1:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Magee, Mississippi.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, November 11, 2020, at 3:30 p.m. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home. The burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Mize, Mississippi. Bro. Larry Dennis will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. (601) 849-5031
He was preceded in death by his mother, Eleanor Harvey Sullivan.
Survivors include his father, Rudolph Tanner; one son, Randy Tanner and wife, Jan of Magee; three grandchildren, John Warren and Angel of Magee, Ashley Warren Amason and husband, Brian of Mize, and Austin Tanner of Magee; eleven great-grandchildren with one soon to arrive; and a host of other family members and friends.
Pallbearers will be Austin Tanner, John Warren, Dwayne Cook, Derek Tanner, Brian Sprayberry, and Zack Burden
