By James Davis
The Scriptural passage chosen for today is found in 2 Corinthians 4:17: “For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.” Isn’t it a great comfort to know that trials and sufferings, common to all mankind, are not, for the Christian, the be-all/end-all? Yes, as the apostle tells the early church in this verse, we have a glorious hereafter for which to look forward. There are riches untold awaiting the saints of God just over in the Great Beyond. We are to take heart, be of good cheer, and run the race with purpose, knowing the prize will be ours upon reaching the finish line. Thank you, Jesus, for your promises of a far better day in God’s tomorrow. Amen! The Word of God for the people of God; thanks be to God!
Happy Tuesday!

When you pray for something let it go. Don’t pray a second time as that would demonstrate a lack of faith. After you pray BE STILL. God might be trying to tell you something that could help. If you don’t stop and listen you could miss out on your blessing.
