The Scriptural passage chosen for today is found in Psalm 65:13: “The meadows are covered with flocks, and the valleys are mantled with grain; they shout for joy and sing.” Yes, Nature sings praises to the glory of God, Creator of all. The psalmist so eloquently expressed in his poetry and songs the impact God’s majesty provided for him daily and continually thanked his Maker for it. We should be no different in our appreciation of God’s handiwork. The poet Wordsworth penned these lines, somewhat similar to those of the psalmist: “One impulse from a vernal wood may teach you more of man, of moral evil and of good than all the sages can.” Enjoy what God provides freely. Rejoice and give thanks. Amen!
