Emma Palmer, 72, of Mendenhall, Mississippi, passed away Sunday, July 19, 2020 at her home in Mendenhall, Mississippi. She was born Saturday, November 29, 1947.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2020 from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home Mendenhall.
Graveside Services will be held Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at 3:00 PM at Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Mendenhall. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall is in charge of arrangements. (601) 847-4401.
Mrs. Palmer was a loving mother and grandmother to her family. She also loved to take care of her animals and her flowers. She will be loved and missed by many people.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Day Palmer; parents, Clois and Eddie Burnham; son, William Palmer.
Survivors include her three children, Jimmie Broom, Joyce Bain and husband Danny, John Palmer and wife, Debbie; grandchildren, Kimberly Hickman and husband, Matt, Nathaniel Thompson, Brent Hornback, and Tiffany Hornback; five great-grandchildren; sister, Betty Parks; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Pallbearers will be Randy Powell, Billy Powell, Stanley Martin, Brent Hornback, and Nathaniel Thompson.
