Emily Jones Manning, 76, of Mize, Mississippi, died Thursday, April 18, 2019 at Magee General Hospital. She was born on Tuesday, October 27, 1942.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2019 from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Magee, Mississippi. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 PM at the funeral home. The Burial will follow in Jones Family Cemetery. Bro. Tony Keys will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. (601) 849-5031.

Mrs. Manning was a member of First Baptist Church of Mize, MS.

Emily had a smile that could light up a room and the kindness to match it. She was loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother who adored her family. Emily was a teacher for over four decades touching the lives of over 3,500 students during her career.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Jones & Venus Anderson, Brothers, Horace Jones & Gale Jones.

Survivors include her loving husband of 13 years Ron Manning; her Daughter, Holly Johnson; Granddaughter, Sommer N Johnson; Sister, Amelia Jones; Step-children, Candy Manning Hagwood & Ronnie Manning and his wife Tracy; Step-Grandchildren, Spencer Hagwood, Carly Hagwood, Sarah Manning, & Cameron Manning.

Pallbearers will be Spencer Hagwood, Ron Jones, Cameron Manning, Howie Robinson, Rob Martin, Kyle Magee, Brian Means
