Ellen Kay Harper Thames, age 67, left this life and joined her heavenly Father on July 31, 2020. She was born July 23, 1953, to her parents, the late George Harper and Wilma (Blackburn) Harper in Jones County, MS.

She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church for over 40 years, and that church, as well as helping others, was her heart and soul.

She was preceded in death by her father,George Harper;her husband, Jerry Thames and sister, Betty Beckham (Steve).

Ellen is survived by her mother, Wilma Harper; daughters, Kelly Brown (John), Kimberly Thames, Katy Thames craft; brothers, Michael Harper (Cheryl), Gary Harper (Kathy), Jeff Harper (Karen); sister, Rebecca Mosley; two grandchildren, Ashton and Sarah Craft.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 2, 2020, at Tutor Funeral Home in Magee from 1:30 pm until 3:00 pm. A graveside service will follow at 4:00 pm at Shiloh Cemetery with interment following. Brother Gary Roberts will officiate.

Arrangements are entrusted with Tutor Funeral Home of Magee.
