Elizabeth Aleta Grace Shutze

Miss Elizabeth Aleta Grace Shutze, passed away Saturday, May 15, 2021, at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, Mississippi. She was born Friday, May 14, 2021.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 20, 2021 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the St. Richard Catholic Church in Jackson.

Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, May 20, 2021 at 2:00 PM at St. Richard Catholic Church. The Burial will follow at Popular Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Father John Bohn will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. (601) 849-5031

Elizabeth had the sweetest smile and a feisty personality. She loved the sunrise, listening to her Daddy read Hungry Little Caterpillar, and having her Momma sing You are My Sunshine. Elizabeth loved her sisters dearly and enjoyed spending time in her sister’s arms. Elizabeth was loved by all who met her, and she will forever be our angel and our saint.

She was preceded in death by her maternal great-grandmother, Christine Batton; maternal great-grandmother, Ethel Scharwath; paternal great-grandmother, Pearl Hazelwood; paternal grandfather, Michael Shutze.

Survivors include her parents, Matthew and Madison Shutze; sisters, Addison, Caroline, and Sophie; paternal grandmother, Martha Shutze; maternal grandparents, Michael and Kymble Audiffred; godparents, John Shutze and Harriet Melancon; and host of family and friends.
