Governor Phil Bryant announced July 10, 2018 as the election date for House of Representative District 77. If a run off is required, the election will be held on July 31, 2018.
Qualifying date for the office is May 21, 2018.
The winner will fulfill the spot held by Andy Gipson who resigned after being named Mississippi Commissioner of Agriculture and Commerce.
Parts of Rankin and Simpson County are included in this district.
