I, am Mickey Berry, a Republican candidate for Supervisor, District Four. I would like to take this opportunity to announce my candidacy for re-election.
I am 60 years old and am married to the former Debbie Hill of Monticello. I attended Copiah Lincoln Junior College and the University of Southern Mississippi. I have been self-employed since 1976, involving timber, trucking, cattle, and farming.
The position of County Supervisors is more than managing a road maintenance program. This is a position that determines county tax rates and budgets and promotes economic growth in Simpson County and surrounding areas. County government should operate and be managed as a business, in the most effective and efficient manner possible for all the citizens of Simpson County.
In a time of economical and political uncertainty, it is vital that we understand the issues and challenges before us.
As in the past, I will always be open to comments and suggestions from all the citizens of Simpson County. The decisions made by your Board of Supervisors should reflect the will of the people and serve the best interests of the county as a whole.
The decisions made by your county officials affect you, your children, and the future of your grandchildren.
I look forward to being able to visit with as many of you as possible during my campaign. I hope to once again win your support and trust.
On November 3rd, you have a choice, so please vote for Mickey Berry as your Supervisor, District 4. Your vote will be appreciated.
GOD BLESS AMERICA!
Thank you!
