Stolen Vehicle and Sale of a Controlled Substance (2 counts) Arrest
On February 25, 2015, the Magee Police Department received a call stating that a 1999 model Dodge Van belonging to
Asha Patel had been stolen out of the parking lot of Comfort Inn in Magee.
The investigation revealed that the stolen
vehicle had been sold for scrap at the Magee Recycling by Eldon Jerrell Turner
. An arrest warrant was issued for Turner.
Later that night, Eldon Jerrell Turner was spotted and arrested by Magee Police Officers.
Turner was charged with Destruction of stolen property as well as DUI 2nd, and Driving with License Suspended for DUI. Turner
was also charged with 2 counts of Sale of Controlled Substance that stemmed from an ongoing drug investigation.
Presently Turner is in the Magee City Jail awaiting an Initial Appearance hearing before Judge Eugene Knight.
