The Magee Sportsplex fields were full of something beside baseballs Saturday! The First Baptist Church of Magee sponsored a free egg hunt for area residents. The fields were colorful with eggs and children!
Approximately 16,000 eggs were hidden on one of the Sportsplex fields. Children from birth to six grade were invited to participate in the free event.
The eggs were filled with candy. Christian pamphlets and invitations to the Easter Cantata which will take place Sunday morning at 10:00. Everyone is invited!
The Easter Bunny (Christian King) hopped all over the place making pictures with star struck youngsters and friends!
The day was beautiful! I don’t think we could have “ordered” a more perfect day. The hunt began at 9:30…and the fields were “clean” in a short period of time.
