On Monday night, January, 7, Governor Candidate Robert Foster sat down to discuss the future of Mississippi. Foster talked about how he believed in the great potential of our state and that we must tap into it. Foster said he supports the abolishment of a personal income tax, but would also support an increase in the highly debated gas tax. When asked about education, Foster made the point that Mississippi’s education formula must be rewritten. Foster said, “its 20 years old, its bad policy.” Finally, a major issue for Foster is healthcare. Foster would like to see a change in how our system operates today.  The race for Governor will be closely watched and it will be interesting to see who both parties nominate. Stay tuned to MageeNews.com for more updates. The TalkShow is sponsored by La Crema and Priority One Bank.
