Edna Workman, 85, of Mendenhall, passed from this life Friday, September 11,
2015 at University of Mississippi Medical Center. Graveside services will be
held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at Merit Cemetery in Merit,
MS. Bro. Roger Lee will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of
Mendenhall is in charge of arrangements, (601)847-4401.

Mrs. Edna has been a native of Mississippi for the past 34 years. She was
over the administration of Merit Cemetery, she worked for Colonial Chapel
Funeral Home has a hostess, she also worked as a poll worker in the Merit
Voting Precinct and she was treasurer for the Pinole yearly reunion. Mrs.
Edna was a wonderful cook to her family.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 16, 2015 from 5:00 PM – 8:00
PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall. Surviving Family Members:
Sons – Lester D Workman, Jr.(Donna) of Loganville, GA, James F Workman, of
Mendenhall, Gregory L Workman (Dianne) of Pearl; 4 grandchildren and 6
great-grandchildren; Step-Daughters – Melody Bradford and Jeanne Marie Beck.
