Copiah Lincoln Community College and Entergy sponsored a Economic Development Summit on the Wesson Campus of Co-Lin Tuesday, May 7, 2019.
Dr. Jane Hulon, President of Copiah Lincoln Community College, welcomed everyone to Co-Lin. Casey K Sacks, PhD., Deputy Assistant Secretary for Community Colleges Office of Career, Technical and Adult Education spoke on Best Practices for Economic Development in Rural Communities.
Ed Gardner, Jr. with Entergy, Director of Business and Economic Development, spoke about Economic Development Challenges and Opportunities in South West Mississippi.
Scott Waller, President and CEO of the Mississippi Economic Council address attendees.
Fred R McConnel, Director of State and Federal Programs spoke on ACT Work Ready Communities.
Kenny Goza, Program Coordinator, spoke on the Next Steps.
