In his later life, his hobbies included spending time with his family, visits with his sister, Marsha, talking with friends, and enjoying the view from his back porch. He enjoyed the simple things in life and had lots of entertaining stories to tell. His greatest prized possession was his grandchildren.

He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Charlotte Pardue; his children Rodger Pardue (Beth) of Taylorsville, MS and Lindsay Baker (Scott) of Brandon, MS; his grandchildren Aubrey & Bryant Pardue and Jensen & Jewel Baker; sister, Marsha Pardue of Taylorsville; and a host of other family members and friends.

Dwight was predeceased by his father, Fillmore Pardue; mother, Mildred Pardue; brother, Phil Pardue; and sister, Carrie Magee.

A visitation will be held on Friday Oct. 28th, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home – services to follow at Colonial Chapel and interment at Fellowship Cemetery. Brother Tommy Shields will officiate the service.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Taylorsville Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 527, Taylorsville, MS 39168.
