Nicholas Dukes of Mendenhall (seated, left) is the recipient of the Russell Ray Leadership Endowment presented through the Copiah-Lincoln Community College Foundation. The scholarship was established in 2002 by the Co-Lin Trailblazers and the Eta Omega Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa to honor former advisor Russell Ray. The scholarship is awarded to a freshman Trailblazer and PTK member for their sophomore year. On hand for the presentation were Trailblazer Advisor Leah Greer (seated, right), and Co-Lin Foundation Board president Larry Greer. Scholarship donors and recipients were honored at the Co-Lin Foundation 16th annual scholarship reception held at The Thames Center on the Wesson Campus. The Co-Lin Foundation provides approximately $275,000 in scholarships to more than 200 Co-Lin students annually.
