Dr. Sherry Meadows passed away on Tuesday December 8, 2020 at the age of 65. She was born to Jeff W. Meadows and Bobbie Lou (Walker) Meadows in Columbus, Ohio on June 29, 1955.

She received her doctorate degree from Belhaven University and University of Health Sciences in Kansas City, MO. She practiced medicine in Simpson County for ever twenty years then retired due to illness. Sherry was an awesome physician. She loved her patients and treated them as if they were her family.

She was deeply loved by her family and she loved her Heavenly Father. She was always expressing her gratitude to all of her physicians, nurses and caregivers. She exhibited tremendous grace and courage while coping with her illness. Sherry was our hero and taught us so much in dealing with life’s challenges.

She is survived by her sister, Terry Meadows; brother Jeffery W. Meadows (Patty); nephew, Robert Darrell Meadows (Stephanie); nieces, Whitney Bazzle (Brandon), Taylor Butler; great-nephew, Tristan Meadows; great-nieces, Isabella Meadows and Brayln Bazzle.

She was preceded in death by her parents and great-niece, Addlin Grace Bazzle.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 10, 2020, at Magee City Cemetery.

 

Arrangements are entrusted to Tutor Funeral Home of Magee.
