Douglas Anthony “Doug” DuBose, 55, of Taylorsville, Mississippi, passed away on Friday, January 29, 2021. at his home. He was born Friday, July 9, 1965, in Pascagoula, Mississippi.
Graveside Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, February 3, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Mize City Cemetery in Mize, Mississippi. Bro. will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Taylorsville is in charge of arrangements. (601) 785-6564
Doug was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Taylorsville, Mississippi, where he was serving as a Deacon. He served in the Taylorsville community as a hair stylist for many years. He was a loving brother, father, son, and friend. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Jerry DuBose, Sr. and Marie Patricia Smith DuBose.
Survivors include his two brothers, Richard Jerry “Ricky” DuBose, Jr. of Mize, and Charles M. “Micky” DuBose and wife, Kathy L, of Soso; one step-son, Alan Lowery of Taylorsville; and a host of other family members and friends.
Pallbearers will be Family and Friends.
