MMS is rocking!  Magee’s Middle School ,under the three year leadership of Mrs. Tracye Pierre, has seen growth not only in the classroom but in participation in activities of the students.

Dr. Robert Sanders, Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources and Secondary Schools, presented the plaques to Mrs. Chain and Mrs. Pierre.

Also present for the presentation was Dr. Deirdre Randall.  Dr. Randall is the Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction hired following the retirement of Mrs. Debbie Davis.

Sue Note:

I got a personal tour of the Magee Middle School Monday.  The buildings were immaculate!  I could not believe I was touring a building I attended “years” ago!

All students were neat and respectable to “an old lady—me.”  Upon my arrival at Magee Middle School, a group of students directed visitors to the area for the meeting.  Those students were awesome!  I was so impressed.  And, the janitor is doing a fabulous job…the library was wonderful…and learning about our school and personal allows more awareness of our Middle School.  I hope Mrs. Pierre doesn’t mind seeing my face again…because I’ll be back!
