Dorothy Laverne Herrington, 86, of Magee, died December 16, 2015, at Magee General Hospital.
Mrs. Herrington was born April 26, 1929, in Magee, MS to Marvin and Louise Pope.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Kelly Gene Herrington, parents, Marvin and Louise Pope, brother, Charles Ray Pope, son , Kelly Gene Herrington II, and grandson, Kelly Herrington III.
She was survived by her two sons, Kenneth Ray Herrington and Tommy Pope Herrington, daughter, Vicki Lynn Gore, three granddaughters, Kennie Walker, Dee Miller, and Keri Ladner, five grandsons Brain Herrington, Jason Herrington, Kenny Herrington, Chad Walker, Eric Herrington, and many beautiful great- grandchildren.
Services for Dorothy Herrington will be held Saturday, December 19, 2015 at 2:00pm at Siloam Baptist Church. Burial will be in Siloam Baptist Church Cemetery Bro. Raymond Jeffcoat will officiate. Visitation will be held from 12:00pm till service time.
Pallbearers will be Jason Herrington, Brain Herrington, Doug Walker, Chad Walker, Bernie Herrington, and Dale Herrington.
