Dorothy Elizabeth Welch, 90, of Mendenhall, died Saturday, peacefully at her home in Mendenhall. She was born Monday, May 9, 1927.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, January 18, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Rials Creek United Methodist Church in Magee. The burial will follow at the church cemetery. Bro. David Hanna and Bro. Gary Phillips will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. (601) 849-5031
She was preceded in death by her husband Sidney D. Welch, parents L.E. and Linnie Brown, and brother W.T. Brown.
Survivors include her sons, Michael Welch and wife Brenda, Tommy Welch and Katrina Welch.
Grandchildren: Joey and Sabrina Bennett, David and Charity Welch, Paul and Keri Mumme, Daniel and Chante Ferguson
Great Grandchildren: Justin Alfonso, Karli Welch, Gage Bennett, Jade Bennett, Gaven Ferguson, Sidney Mumme, Beaux Mumme, Madelyn Ferguson, Mikayla Welch
