Dorissa Faye Sims, Mendenhall, MS

We would like to take the time to honor the remembrance of our precious loved one, Dorissa Faye Sims. Dorissa was born on May 30, 1984, in Laurel, MS. She departed life on October 19, 2020.
She was preceded in death by her loving brother, Otis Levell Sims and grandfather, Paul Sims.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her mother, Mrs. Lottie (Leonard) Keyes of Mize MS; her father Leedale Hayes (Linda Kay) of Magee, MS; godmother, Rayevone Williamson, of Magee, MS; her grandparents, Elise and Otis Ducksworth of Mize, MS, and Reba Nell and Levell Hayes of Mount Olive, MS; Fiancé Terry Buckner of New Orleans, LA; two daughters, Tamiracle Williams and Kaylani Bucker; two sons, Terry Buckner Jr. and Ja’Corey Buckner all of Magee, MS; four sisters, Clarissa Mickell (Jeffery) of Bassfield, MS, Larissa Sims of Magee, MS, Shakila Sims of Magee, MS, Mary Benson (Christian) of Heidelberg, MS; One brother, Ezekiel Byrd of Collins, MS; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nephew, cousins, family and friends.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, October 29, 2020, at Tutor Funeral Home in Magee, from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. A graveside service is scheduled for Friday, October 30, 2020, beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Dry Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery in Mize.
