Doris Michelle (Yeatman) Watson

June 24, 1966 – January 17, 2022

Doris Michelle (Yeatman) Watson, 55, went to be with Our Lord on January 17, 2022, after an extended illness.  She was affectionately known to family and friends as Missy.

Ms. Watson had a love of helping others and did this through being a nurse.  She graduated with her LPN from Northland Community and Technical College in East Grand Forks, MN.  She later worked in a variety of capacities to include nursing in Louisiana.

She had a love of family and animals, her favorite being horses.  Her most favorite hobby was walking around Wal-Mart although she did occasionally crochet.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Eileen (Wells) Yeatman.  She is survived by her father William Curtis Yeatman (Sherry), three sons – William Joseph Watson (Casey), Michael Sean Watson (Courtney), and Ryan Patrick Watson (Laurie).  She also has 2 grandchildren that she hadn’t had a chance to meet, Rowan (William) and Rory (Ryan).  She also leaves behind 4 sisters and their families, Mary Kathleen Harrington (Raymond), Susan Yeatman Taggart (Donald), Ruth Anne “Polly” Campbell, Patricia Marie Emfinger.  She also has a host of nieces and nephews, Nathan, Caleb, Kitty, Lucas, Michelle, Noah, Daniel and Adam.

            Those wishing to honor her life can make a donation in her name to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or Rock Bluff Baptist Church (4739 Hwy 541, Morton, MS 39117) in lieu of flowers.  Funeral services are private and for immediate family only.
