Doris was a loving and hardworking woman who found joy in caring for others. She was a great cook and was always faithful to bring food to the church for every occasion. She loved working in her garden and took pride in the hard work she put into it. She also loved her cats and the comfort they brought her. Her children are very proud of how she raised them, teaching discipline, faith, and the importance of attending church. Most of all, they are grateful for the lesson she shared through her life, that you don’t need everything in the world to be happy.
She was preceded in death by her father, James Quinn, and mother, Maggie Williamson Quinn.
Survivors include her sons, James Michael Hayman of Mendenhall, MS, and Charles Gerry Hayman of Mendenhall, MS; grandchild, Billy Michael Hayman (Laura); and great-grandchild, Eli Michael Hayman.
Pallbearers will be Eli Hayman, Stevie Hubbard, Jamie Cox, Doug Thompson, and Danny Bryant.
