Dewanna (Dee) Pearce, 77, of The Woodlands, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, in Magee, Mississippi. She was born on January 14, 1949, in Denham Springs, Louisiana, to Odis Ira Walding Sr. and Alberta Beatrice “Pat” Brown, and was raised in Pineville, Louisiana.

Dewanna was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. Known affectionately as “Dee,” she was cherished for her strength, warmth, and devotion to her family. She found her greatest joy in time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, creating lasting memories that will be treasured forever. As an avid horse lover, Dee had a lifelong appreciation for horses and found peace and joy in their beauty and spirit.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Odis Ira Walding Sr. and Alberta “Pat” Brown; her sisters, Sherry Walding and Elrina Hines; and her brother, Charles Wesley Walding.

She is survived by her siblings, Odis “Butch” Ira Walding Jr., Anita Reeves, Anthony (Sandra) Walding, Pam (Glen) Willis, and Sydney (John) Allen; her daughter, Stacy Pearce; her son, Robby (Diana) Pearce; her grandchildren, Anthony (Orion) Brasseaux, Shelbi (Jimmy) Brasseaux, Zackary (Kitts) Pearce, Logan (Brandon) Pearce, Wesley (Parmin) Brasseaux, and Raven (Steed)Harris; and her great-grandchildren, Remington McCarty, Rylan Bautista, Silas McCarty, and Graham Pearce.

Dewanna’s legacy of love, resilience, and family devotion will live on in all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
