Doris Clydean Herrington Gowan, 84, of Jackson, MS died Friday, June 24, 2016 at Community Place Nursing Home in Jackson, She was born Tuesday, August 11, 1931 in Simpson Co, MS.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at 10:00 AM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Magee. Burial will follow in Goodwater Cemetery. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. (601)849-5031.

She is preceded in death by her Parents, Albert Jewel Herrington and Leola Kennedy Herrington, A sister, Gloria Fontan,
Survivors include her Daughters, Melanie Calvert Benton (Gary Lee), Janis Calvert Baehr Brothers, Emmett Calvert, Jerry Herrington, Jack Herrington, Sister – Peggy Kimball, and numerous Grandchildren and Great-grandchildren.
