Doris Caroline Walters May, 93, passed away Friday, July 6, 2018, at Clinton Healthcare Center in Clinton, MS. Visitation will be held on Mon. July 9, 2018 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS from 9am-9:45am. Funeral Services are 10am on Mon. July 9, 2018 at the Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Brandon, MS with burial at Lakewood Memorial Park South in Jackson, MS.

Mrs. May was born in the Ringold Community of Scott County, MS. She was a longtime resident of Simpson County, MS and has lived in Brandon, MS for the past 29 years. Mrs. May was a member of Crossgates Baptist Church in Brandon, MS where she also taught Sunday School.

She is survived by her two sons, Gary May (Lisa) and Douglas May (Nanette); sister, Louise Lewis; 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Mrs. May is preceded in death by her husbands, L. D. Bush and Sherlon “Dickie” May; 4 sisters, Willie Matthews, Mary Grace Sparkman, Ollie Ruth Walters, Mildred Sherman and 3 brothers, Milton Walters, Clyde Walters and Harding Walters.
