Donald Travis Evans, 65, passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at UMMC in Jackson, MS. He was born on June 10, 1959, to Granvell Evans and Juanita Lee Evans.
Travis worked for the City of Magee for many years. Before retirement, he was with Simpson County Schools. When he was younger, he enjoyed mud riding, swimming, being a lifeguard, and going to Merit. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Granvell Evans and grandparents, Dannie and Lena Ashcraft Evans and Lige H. and Parthena Bridges Lee.
Travis is survived by his wife of 33 years, Kathy Blair Evans; mother, Juanita Evans; sister, Sheree Jimmerson (Jim); children, Kasey Ferguson (Chris), Andi Moose (Brandon), Jaimie Armstrong (Ross), Selina Prichard (Brian), Michelle Westbrook (Jason), William Warren (Miriam) and John Warren; grandchildren, Piper Ferguson, Bowman Armstrong, Grady Armstrong, Waylon Armstrong, Thatcher Moose, Shepherd Moose, Megan Eubanks (David), Blair Westbrook, Kyle Prichard (Ivy), Kenneth Nolan, Abbie Warren, Chloe Warren, Courtney Warren, Dalton Chace, Bella Hofler, Hayden Ferguson (Bri), Connor Ferguson, Korben Ferguson; and eleven great-grandchildren.
The family will receive family and friends on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Tutor Funeral Home in Mendenhall, MS. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 30, in the Tutor Funeral Home Chapel, with Brother Trent Sullivan officiating. Interment will follow at Whitesand Cemetery.

Arrangements are entrusted to Tutor Funeral Home of Mendenhall.
