Donald “Bubba” Mullins, 75, of Harrisville, Mississippi, passed away Thursday, December 24 at his home in Harrisville, Mississippi. He was born Thursday, August 23, 1945 in Pascagoula, Mississippi.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 27, 2020 from 11:30 AM until 12:30 PM at Unity Baptist Church in Georgetown, Mississippi.
Funeral Services will be held Sunday, December 27, 2020 at 12:30 PM at Unity Baptist Church. The Burial will follow in Unity Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Talmadge Smith and Bro. Roger Lee will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall is in charge of arrangements. (601) 847-4401
He was a loving husband for nearly 57 years. A wonderful father, he seemed to make friends with everyone he met. He played guitar and served the Lord through music for many years and served as a Deacon for many years at Unity Baptist Church. He was a very talented man. He worked as an iron worker & structural steel for many years. A great mechanic, even built most of our homes. He is forever loved by his family dearly, and even more he loved God. He also was a Vietnam Vet.
He was preceded in death by parents, Oscar Dewitt and Margaret Nadine Mullins; brother, Johnny Mullins; sister, Linda Griffin.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Ellen Mullins; son, Donald Mullins; daughters, Stephaine Hemn and husband, Scott Hemn, Mary Ellen Shramek, and husband, Tobi Shramek, and Brittany Mullins; ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three sisters, twin Elaine Garrett, Renna Sills, and Dorothy Cook; two brothers, Jimmy Mullins and Jerry Mullins.
Pallbearers will be Scott Herrin, Daniel Clark, Jamie Bullock, Bobby Bullock, Shannon Gilmore, and Stephen Lynchard. Honorary pallbearers will be Brennan Bullock and John Bullock.
