A few weeks ago, I decided to start a series of videos on MageeNews.com and MageeNews Facebook page showing different areas in our city history.  “Do you know where I am?” has been such fun.  I love getting suggestions from the public.

As the Bicentennial approaches, I’ve thought more and more about the history of Magee.  Mrs. Katherine McCarley, owner of Home Appliance which has now closed, has written a history of Magee.  The book is available at the Magee Library for “looking”…not checking out.  Mrs. McCarley shares so many interesting facts about the growth of Magee.  I have chosen several places she has listed in the book and added some of my own.  What I need is your suggestions on places I should visit!  I’m not finished…so be watching!

Check out some of the “Where Am I”
