Did you make the most of your summer break?

For some students this will the first time back to school in a in-person setting.

The school year has arrived and it is time to see the kids are put to bed early for a good nights rest.

There are changes to this years schedules. Do not fault the plans or calendars for restart until you try them! Times are changing and society must adjust to the changes.

Simpson County Superintendent Dr. Toriano Holloway challenged his staff to “change their way of thinking.”  Holloway asked each one to commit to the kids! As long as we turn and stay with the mission statement – Believe, Achieve and Succeed each day this school year will be successful. Holloway encouraged each staff to start each day with I can, I shall and I will.

Everyone loves sports and high school football. Football will start August 20th with jamborees and season August 27, 2021. Magee will open their season against Taylorsville, Thursday, August 26, 2021.

Hold one and breathe deep it is going to be a fast ride and Christmas will be here in the blink of an eye.
