Disappointment: Part 1
Have you ever prayed for something? I mean diligently, faithfully, day in and day out –Prayed!!!!
You know this is a good thing and God is going to do this— He’s going to take care of this!!!
But the answer was NO? I have been there: when loved ones died, when troubles came, when life kicked me in the gut.
From Oswald Chambers: If your hopes are being disappointed at this moment, it means that they are being purified. There is nothing noble that the human mind has ever hoped for or dreamed of that will not be fulfilled. Don’t jump to conclusions too quickly; many things lie unsolved and the biggest test of all is when God looks as if He were totally indifferent. Remain spiritually tenacious!!
