Denmon Virgil Sherman, 53, passed away June 14, 2023, at Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, MS. He was born on February 28, 1970, to Billy Miles Sherman and Rachel Barlow Sherman.
He served as a dispatcher for the Mendenhall Police Department.
He is survived by his mother, Rachel Barlow Sherman; sister, Dene Sherman Miller (David Grant); brother, Allen Glenn Sherman; nephews, Grant William Miller, Brian Thomas Miller, and Miles Samuel Miller.
He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Miles Sherman; grandparents, Arthur Denmon Shermon and Vera Mae Dickerson Sherman; Virgil Lee Barlow and Modena “Dene” Tillman Barlow.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, June 17, 2023, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in the Bridgeport community in Simpson County. Bro.Ted Bowlin will officiate the service with interment to follow.
Arrangements are entrusted with Tutor Funeral Home of Mendenhall.
