The Mendenhall High School DECA Club attended the DECA Fall Leadership Development Conference at the Courtyard Marriott on Saturday, October 15th through Monday, October 17th. Mrs. Kennedy, MHS DECA Advisor, and the following nine students attended:

Students attended a beach party on Saturday night where they met and visited with DECA students from other schools. On Sunday, students participated in breakout sessions teaching them about competition. The students had a mock role play competition in front of judges who scored them just like they would in competition. Afterwards, the students were given written feedback from the judges about their role playing to identify their areas of strengths and weaknesses.
