Deborah “Debbie” Ainsworth Cooper, 68 of Mendenhall, MS passed away Sunday, April 21, 2024 at the Bedford Care Center in Mendenhall, MS. She was born Tuesday, August 30, 1955 in Mendenhall, MS.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 from 10:00am until 11:00am at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall, 3077 Simpson Hwy 13, Mendenhall, MS. A Graveside service will follow on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at 11:15am at Clearview Baptist Cemetery in Mendenhall, MS. Bro. Jonathan Burnham will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall is in charge of arrangements. 601-847-4401

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Cooper; daughter, Colissa Smith; father, Alvin Ainsworth; mother, Ruth Culpepper Ainsworth; brothers, Robert Ainsworth, Jimmy Ainsworth, Larry Ainsworth and Jerry Ainsworth.

She is survived by her sons, George Haley and Earl Smith; grandchildren, Christie Blair (Cody), Brittany Haley Skinner (Jeremy), Devin Lucas and Matthew Smith; brothers, Ricky Ainsworth (Glenda), Charles Ainsworth (Trish); sisters, Linda Berry (David), Joyce Ainsworth Hensarling (Mark), Janice Ainsworth Ellis (Dana), Diane Ainsworth Puckett and Peggy Ainsworth Myers (Jeff); sister-in-law, Peggy Ainsworth; and 7 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Family and Friends.
