DEATH
Is there life for you after this life? Think about this life will be spent in a place call Heaven or a place call Hell. Our devotion today comes from Psalm 49:15. But God will redeem my soul from the power of the grave. For He shall receive me Selah.
This verse tells us God himself will give us power over the grave by the way of the cross. If we come to Jesus now He will save us today. The word Selah means amen. A strong verse that tells us there is victory over death is John 3:16. Eternal life is ours just for the asking. God is our refuge and strength in our time of trouble. We must be still and let God show us He is God. God is the God of the rich and the poor, great and small, He is the father of us all.
God is the resurrection and the life. The same spirit that raised up Jesus from the dead will lift us up from the grave as well.
Our bodies must be presented to God Holy and acceptable unto Him. After we repent, be filled with the Holy Spirit speak in tongues as the spirit gives the utterance, take up our cross, follow Jesus, and then serve Him 100%, our name is then written in Lambs Book of Life.
We then can live in Heaven a perfect place forever with Jesus Christ our King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Then we can truly say I once was lost but now I am found. Jesus wants to melt that hard heart and give you a life worth living. What a day that will be when Jesus says enter into the joys of the Lord. Remember to a child of God, death is not a big deal.
