Is there life for us after this life? In our devotion this week, we will find the answer to this question.Our devotion today comes from St. Mark 5:21: “But God will redeem my soul from the power of the grave: for he shall receive me Selah.: This verse tells us that God Himself will give us power over the grave by the way of the cross! If we come to Jesus now, He will save us today! The word “Selah” means “amen.” Another strong verse that tells us there is victory over death is John 3:16. Eternal life is our just for the asking!

After we repent and have that personal experience with Jesus, our name is written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. We then can live in Heaven, a perfect place with Jesus Christ, our King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
Jesus wants to melt away that hard heart and give you a life worth living! What a day that will be when Jesus says “Enter into the hoys of the Lord.” To a child of God, death is not a big deal! Won’t you make this week be your week of victory?
