David Richard Hetrick
(May 17, 1942 – November 7, 2022)

          David Richard Hetrick, 80 of Taylorsville, Mississippi passed away from his earthly home to his heavenly home on Monday, November 7, 2022, at his home in Taylorsville, Mississippi. He was born Sunday, May 17, 1942, in Terra Haute, Indiana.

          A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.  Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Taylorsville is in charge of arrangements. 601-785-6564

          Mr. David was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, son, brother, and friend.  He served our country in the United States Air Force.  He was a member of the Hiram Lodge in Taylorsville where he served as Master Mason.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and most of all spending time with his family and friends.  He will be greatly missed by all of loving family and friends.

          He was preceded in death by his son, Chris Hetrick; father, Donald Hetrick, Sr.; mother, Katherine Berbonitz Hetrick; and brother, Donald Hetrick, Jr.

          Survivors include his wife, Janie Lowery Hetrick of Taylorsville, MS; two sons, David Randall Hetrick of Mendenhall, MS and Richard Todd Hetrick of Taylorsville, MS; one step-son, Michael Levett (Rasa) of Rose Hill, MS; one step-daughter, Linda Levett of CT; five grandchildren, Jonathan Hetrick of Taylorsville, MS, Todd Hetrick of Taylorsville, MS, Brandon Hetrick (Paige) of Mount Olive, MS, Zach Hetrick of Stringer, MS and Peyton Hetrick of Taylorsville, MS; and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
