On Wednesday, June 7, 2017, David Michael Starling was arrested for approaching a young child in the City Park of Magee. Candy Burns was walking in the City Park with her 4-year-old child. When the girl ran toward Starling who was sitting in the drivers seat of a vehicle with the window rolled down, the mother yelled at the child to come back. The little girl told her mother that the man (Starling) was going to give her some candy and let her play with a puppy. The man was identified as David Michael Starling who is a registered Sex Offender.
Starling was arrested by Lt. Joey Womack of the Magee Police Department.
Starling appeared before Judge Eugene Knight, Monday, June 12, 2017. Starling was charged with a felony, misdemeanor, DUI other 2nd offense, possession of paraphernalia and marijuana in a vehicle. Bond was set at $20.000.
Starling will appear before the Grand Jury in September.
At this time, Starling has not bonded out of jail.
What is Wrong with Grown Men? I mean go get n Church give Your Life to God then find U a Wife!!!!!! This is Not what Kid’s & Babies are for not at all.I mean come on now why is so many People in this world Sick to think they have to Mess with a Kid or a Baby? When something like this happens to a Kid it Ruins Their Lives Forever & it will make Them grow up not wanting to live a Normal life because before they can even start Their Own Lives Dogs like this has to take away Their Little Lives & it’s Not Fair to that Kid at All !!! Kid’s r a Blessing from God they r Not for this kind of Sick Crap.. This Dog right here makes Me not want to send My Grand Daughter to School or even take Her to the Park or to do anything else Fun for My Granddaughter for that fact cause of always having to Worrie about Dogs like this being out and about.. I can’t even keep count that this same Dog has done this n the past and He is still able to just go and do as He Pleases & it Sickening!!!!! I Pray this Dog will one Day get His Life n Order and Cry Out to God and get Saved and stop wanting to mess with Kid’s and start Messing with God!!! Kid’s deserve to be able to Live a Life without having to go thru something like this. It’s time for Someone to do something about this Guy cause He is just gona keep on keeping on until We take a stand and do something about Our Home Town Magee, Ms which I Love Our Lil Town but come on now it’s time do something this time with this Guy for once and for All !!!! I Pray He don’t make Bail at All !!!!! Thank Mrs. B.J.
