David Kennedy of Mize passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2020. He was born on November 16, 1949, to his parents, the late J. N. Kennedy and Virginia (Lucky) Kennedy in Magee, MS.
He was a deacon and charter member of Maranatha Baptist Church in Mize.
David was preceded in death by his parents, J. N. and Virginia Kennedy and brother, Steve Kennedy.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Deborah (Darden) Kennedy; sons, Sonny Kennedy, Jeff Kennedy (Mandy); brothers, Jerry Wayne Kennedy (Patsy), Jacky Kennedy; sisters, Jeanette Garner, Julie Cosper and two grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, June 2, 2020, at Maranatha Baptist Church with Bro. Rudy Jackson and Bro. Danny Adams officiating. A visitation will be held on Monday, June 1, 2020, beginning at 6:00 pm at Tutor Funeral Home in Magee.
Arrangements are entrusted with Tutor Funeral Home of Magee.
