Darrell Bowen, 70, of, Florence Mississippi, passed away Wednesday October 9, 2019 at his home. He was born Saturday, April 23, 1949.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2019 from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall.
Memorial Services will be held Saturday, October 12, 2019 at 4:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall. Bro. Mike Flynn will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall is in charge of arrangements. (601) 847-4401
Mr. Bowen was a member of Mountain Creek Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by parents, Beecher Bowen and Annie Parrett; sister, Billy Sue Welch and Jean Anderson; brother, Donnie Bowen.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda Bowen; sons, Bobby Bowen (Mary) and Scott Whatley (Alison); daughter, Shannon Boone (Daniel); grandchildren, Shelby Bowen, Kaitlynn Wallace, Madison Boone (Britton), Chris Whatley, Chappell Wallace, Will Wallace, and Mary Caroline Wallace; great-grandchildren, Presley Boone, Taylor Shane Wallace, and Drake Boone; sister, Tean Rainey
