Danny B Runnels, 68, of Mendenhall, Mississippi, passed away Sunday, June 23, 2019 at Magee General Hospital. He was born Wednesday, November 29, 1950.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home Magee.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home Magee in Magee. The Burial will follow in Galiee Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Danny Adams and Bro. Gary Roberts will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. (601) 849-5031.

Danny was a devoted father and grandfather.

He loved raising and showing horses. He was a member of White Oak Baptist Church and retired from Mississippi Department of Agriculture. He was preceded in death by his parents, Vonnie Runnels and Katie Cook Runnels; brother –in-law, Ottis Garner.

Survivors include his wife, Charla Runnels; daughters, Bonnie Kilpatrick and Kelley Anderson (Matt); grandchildren, John Kilpatrick II, Joseph Kilpatrick, Carter Anderson, and Anna Anderson; sisters, Brenda Traxler (Sammy), Gloria Garner, Betty Regions (Sammy).

Pallbearers will be Duane Overby, Scott Overby, Brylan Overby, Joel Garner, Shane Overby, and Cody Carr. Honorary pallbearer will be Woody Kennedy.
