Dan F. Easterling passed away on November 13, 2017, at the age of 69. He was born on June 24, 1948, to the late Charlie and Ruthie (Bowen) Easterling in Raleigh, MS.
Dan served as Constable of Simpson County and was one of the longest-serving elected officials in Simpson County. He was a member of the Constable Association.
He is survived by his loving wife, Geri (Earles) Easterling; sons, Scotty Easterling (Tracey), Chris Puckett; daughter, Kim Easterling; sisters, Mary Williams, Velma Buffington, Undean Hedgewood; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Along with his parents, Dan was preceded in death by his brothers, Will Easterling, Ralph Easterling, Hollis Easterling, Otis Easterling, Andrew Easterling and sister, Gladys Smith.
Visitation for friends will be held on Tuesday, November 14, 2017, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Tutor Funeral Home in Magee. Services are scheduled for Wednesday, November 15, at 11:00 a.m. with interment following in the Magee City Cemetery.
