I, Dale Berry, am pleased to announce my decision to seek the elected office of Mayor of Magee. I am currently serving as Alderman-at-Large. I have received sixty-four hours of Certified Municipal Officials training, developed by the Mississippi Municipal League. These meaningful information sessions have expanded my knowledge and ability to be an efficient and effective community leader.
I am a life-long resident of Magee. I am a second generation business owner, with successful business interests here in my hometown. After graduation from Magee High School, I received an Associate of Arts Degree from Copiah-Lincoln Junior College and in 1980 I received a Bachelor of Arts from Millsaps College. I enjoyed a 9 year teaching and coaching career in the public school system. I also served a year on the local school board prior to becoming Alderman in Magee.
I ask for your vote and support in the upcoming election. It has been an honor to serve as Alderman-at-Large for the City of Magee, and I hope you will elect me as Mayor and allow me to continue to serve my hometown.
