Some goodbyes are just plain hard…especially when they involve four legs and a heart full of love.

My friend Randy Sullivan had to say goodbye to his precious dog, Sudi, or better known as Sue Sue — and if there was ever a pup who knew she was loved, it was Sue Sue.

Sue Sue wasn’t just a dog…she was family. She was spoiled (and rightly so), loved on, talked to, petted, and treated like the queen she was. If love alone could keep our fur babies here forever, Sue Sue would have lived a hundred years.

Anyone who knows Randy knows how big his heart is when it comes to animals. Sue Sue sat right in the middle of Randy’s heart. Randy is constantly rescuing dogs and taking them food! Through good days and hard days, Sue Sue was there…listening, loving, and offering that quiet comfort only a dog can give.

Letting go is never easy. It leaves an empty spot in the house and an even bigger empty spot in the heart. But oh, what a blessing it is to have loved something so much that saying goodbye hurts this bad.

I know Randy is missing the sound of paws and that sweet face looking up at him. And I also know Sue Sue left this world wrapped in love, knowing exactly who her person was.

Rest easy, sweet Sue Sue. You were loved big… and you will be missed even bigger. 💕🐾

Sending hugs and so much love to Randy and everyone who loved that precious little pup.
