As Mortgage V.P.

MAGEE – Dennis Ammann, President and Chief Executive Officer at Peoples Bank, today announced that Cynthia Thomas-Boone has joined the bank and will serve as Vice President and Mortgage Loan Officer. In her new role, Ms. Thomas-Boone will originate and process mortgage loan applications while providing what Ammann said will be “fast and friendly service.”
Ms. Thomas-Boone brings to Peoples Bank more than 35 years of mortgage experience. Most recently, she served as a Vice President at Bancorp South serving the central Mississippi area. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Mississippi Housing Initiative and is a member of the Home Builders of Mississippi, Home Builders of Jackson and the Jackson Association of Realtors.
She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Clarke College.
“I am pleased to join the Peoples Bank family and to bring many years of mortgage experience with me,” Ms. Thomas-Boone said. “We offer our customers a complete array of home loan options including First-Time Homebuyers, Conventional, FHA and VA Loans, USDA 100% mortgage and more, including mortgage refinancing. With today’s mortgage rates hovering near historic lows, there is a great opportunity for many to enter the home buying market or to refinance a higher-rate mortgage.”
Ms. Thomas-Boone will be available to help customers in all Peoples Bank locations and the surrounding area.
