Saturday, April 25th. The Magee Co-Op showed their appreciation to their customers with a free lunch!
Great sales were in progress…and where there is food…everyone comes! Billy Loftin of Grilling & Chillin cooked delicious hamburgers and hotdogs. Pictured with Billy is Mrs. Mabel Rankin.
Since Gina Gilbert (I think the first ever woman Co Op manager in Magee) took over…she was ready for some changes! Moving, rearranging, cleaning up were just a few of the jobs Gina tackled.
Of course, the lunch crowd was talking politics along with farming stuff….
Sure the farmers are checking out the Co-Op but if you work in your yard, love plants, need a mower repaired, …or even need a new mower….the Magee Co-Op is the place to check! I had no idea they stocked clothing and boots …right there with the birdhouses…the co-op is an interesting place to visit! Don’t miss out on an established tradition in Magee, MS
